Your Pet Doesn't Need Perfection
One of the biggest misconceptions in nutrition is that there's only one perfect diet.
There isn't.
There are often multiple excellent ways to feed the same animal. Different feeds, different management styles, and different supplement combinations can all meet the same nutritional goals.
Nutrition isn't about chasing perfection. It's about looking at the entire animal.
How old are they?
What is their activity level?
Do they have any medical conditions?
What does their forage or current food look like?
What are their long-term goals?
When I work with clients, I'm looking at the entire system instead of one ingredient or one supplement. Sometimes we add something. Sometimes we change the food. Sometimes we remove several unnecessary products. Every recommendation has a reason behind it.
The goal isn't to create the most complicated feeding program possible. The goal is to create one that's thoughtful, evidence-based, practical, and sustainable.
Your horse, dog, or cat doesn't need perfection.
They need an owner who's willing to ask good questions, work with trusted professionals, and avoid making decisions based solely on fear.
That's where truly good nutrition begins.
